Thespians

The purpose of Thespians is to strengthen the BHS drama department by keeping old traditions alive, and starting new traditions.

Thespians are responsible for:

Locker Stars/Break-A-Leg-O-Grams for all cast and crew members
Coordinate/run fundraisers
Plan awards night and the induction ceremony
Coordinate participation in acting/improv competitions
Coordinate publicity for productions
Act as liaisons for Drama Booster Club and the Director
Publicize auditions and other Thespian events
Attend once-monthly meetings
Coordinate the running of auditions/rehearsals (in the absence of a stage manager)
Run the student directed one acts in conjunction with IB Theatre

To become a Thespian, you must:

Earn at least 10 Thespian points
Participate in at least 2 full-length shows
Earn points in two different categories (i.e. acting and stage managing)
